Thanks. I needed that. I was always picked on for doing really well in school, and then decided that it was easier not to shine. At least that way I’d have friends. Now I’m much older and slowly remembering how talented I am. I found this blog by accident, but this post is like a confirmation that I’m on the right track.

That is a difficult one, but I am happy to say that I finally figured out that brooding over mistakes of the past was hindering my potential for happiness. So I got to the point that I accepted what I could not change, and made a fresh start for myself. It has been wonderful, and I haven’t looked back.
